It is no great virtue to live lovingly with good natured and meek persons?

That's true. Because, being virtuous is to live lovingly with people who are being mean and nasty, cruel and violent, and abusive towards you. Like Jesus more or less said, all people can be loving when the people around them are good natured and meek towards them. The minute someone is nasty they change. Mr and Mrs Loving become Mr and Mrs Nasty too. That is no mean feat. Nor is it a virtue to be loving around people who don't bother you because anyone, including a child and an animal can do that.
