Do wild spiders live double in captivity?

Most spiders live up to about 2 years... will they live double this life span if i caught one and cared for it? I'm thinking about raising a wolf spider or black widow because my parents hate tarantulas and say even if I got the money I can't get one? also Give me thoughts on which I should keep or if i should catch and keep both wolf spider and black widow...
